One week observation at the 7, 8/ 10-12 campus. Excluding year 9, Notre Dame has around 1500 students enrolled on this campus. Observations included English being taught to years 7, 8, 11 and 12 by different teachers and a VCAL class.

Teaching year 3/4 class of around 20 students. I taught English (spelling and writing), Mathematics, HSIE (the environment), electives and blue earth.

5 weeks at the Senior Campus (Year 9-12). Taught year 9 English and year 10 English. Observed year 8 Science, year 8 English, year 11 & 12 VCE English and VCAL classes. Attended an excursion to the Holocaust Museum with year 11.

Observation of students at a behaviour management school for 6 days. During this placement I hiked with the students who went to the school every Wednesday. I observed both primary and secondary students who attended this school. During this placement I learnt about approaches to behaviour management and about diverse classroom settings that are outside of mainstream schooling.

Warragul regional college has around 700 students enrolled at the school. Students from year 7-9 are put into classes depending on their ability level. During this placement I taught English to three different year 7 groups, 7/2 (at expected level class), 7/3 (the ACE class), and 7/5 (below expected level class). Teaching three different ability levels the same information gave me the opportunity to adapt and develop what I had planned to suit the learning needs of the students. I also taught year 10 English.

Sacred Heart Primary School had 40 students within two classes. I taught years prep to three in the one classroom. During my time at Sacred Heart I taught Handwriting, Spelling, Writing, Mathematics, Art and Health. Having a class with students in prep through to year 3 gave me the opportunity to experience how to differentiate students work.
Cobram Secondary College (High School placement) 22 August 2016- 9 September 2016 25/47 Warkil St, Cobram VIC 3644 (03) 5871 1700 During this placement I taught two year 7 English classes, year 11 English and year 11 History. Teaching two year 7 classes enabled me to develop my differentiation techniques. I actively volunteered at the breakfast club during my time at the school.
